I have hundreds of books so I don’t always remember if I have a specific book or not. I know this is an app and not desktop version but I love having it on my phone when I’m on the go and wanting to see if I’m potentially purchasing a duplicate copy. If there is still nothing showing up from the internet search you can manually take a photo of the book and add it into your collection. Notes can be added, dates started and finished are recordable, and if the app isn’t picking up on the barcode when scanned you can do an internet search for the book and book image. You can also separate any books that have been borrowed and when they need to be returned. It saves me from buying duplicates and is super easy to scan individual or multiple barcodes when purchasing books. I paid the $5 and bought the unlimited version. I know there is a free version but it’s limited as to how many books you can add. It’s an app you can download on your phone. I’m not sure if it’ll meet all of your criteria but I use Book Buddy. I used to use Book Trakker () but I found HomeBase to be easier for my needs. You do not have to sell on AbeBooks to use the software. Their site says the ISBN lookup is for registered sellers only but I don't sell on AbeBooks and it still works for me. Once the ISBN is entered the program can automatically fill in most of the other info. They are cheap but they worked, at least with the older version of HomeBase. You can't do a specific search on languages but there is a column where you can sort all of your inventory by whatever language you have the book listed under.
